Geek envy

I found a great deal on laptop computer memory the other day, looking for an upgrade for one of the lab computers.

I told my husband about it, and he went and bought some for his laptop.  Mine's feeling left out.  The problem is that the sale was on DDR2 RAM, and my computer uses DDR.

I've ordered several new board games from Tanga.  Hoity Toity should make it here before my board game party on Saturday, but Tongiaki won't.  I think I'll try to get my parents to play before we leave for Hawaii... it's Pacific Islanders!  It's boats!  It's colorful!

Saturday we're planning to play games, barbeque and perhaps inaugurate the new fire pit my parents got us for Christmas.  We were thinking of building a small patio to put the fire pit on but it looks like it's going to be too much work to do it right.  Planting blueberry bushes looks like a much more achievable goal this weekend.
